When anger overwhelms us, let’s find rest in God’s presence. Matthew 11:28-30 offers this invitation from Jesus, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Let’s turn to Jesus in times of anger, finding peace and rest in Him.

Day 14: Embracing God’s Love

God’s love is greater than any anger we may feel. 1 John 4:7-8 reminds us, “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
