Christian Poem:In the Cavern of Doubt

In caverns carved by doubt, where shadows crawl,

My weary soul, a flickering candle’s call.

The weight of questions press upon my chest,

A symphony of “whys” that leave me unblessed.

Is faith a fragile flame, by storms subdued?

Can love’s soft embers in such darkness brood?

I search for answers writ in starry night,

Yet silence reigns, a canvas painted white.

But wait, a whisper stirs the barren ground,

A gentle breeze where solace can be found.

A memory surfaces, a whispered prayer,

A seed of hope I planted with such care.

The warmth of scripture, verses etched in stone,

A promise whispered, “You’re not alone.”

For even in the depths, where shadows hide,

God’s unseen hand, a constant by my side.

Perhaps the answers lie not in the sight,

But in the trusting, holding on with might.

Faith’s tapestry is woven, thread by thread,

With doubts acknowledged, tears unshed.

So let me wander in this sacred space,

Embrace the silence, find a deeper grace.

For even in the dark, where faith seems dim,

My flickering candle surrenders unto Him.
